1. Rotating Part
The tunnel body is made of steel plate (Generally speaking,the thickness: 1/100 of the tunnel body length). The feed port is connected tightly to the tunnel body by the bolts and a flange with two-“maze” groove. The discharge port is joint by an endcover and a tunnel flange, fixed by bolts. There are two man-holes on the tunnel body,which are beneficial to cleaning steel balls, repairing machine or replacing liners. The liner bolts is pyramidal and dipper-type, which can effectively reduce the impact power of the bolts from steel balls, thus reducing wear and loosening.
2. Bearing Set
The device supports the load of the whole rotating part, steel balls and material in motion or static. It is made up of sliding bearing,bearing base, bearing cover, lubrication and cooling system. Spherical type sliding bearing is equipped on the concave surface of bearing base. Lining tile is made from WM White Metal.
XYZ-6.3 thin oil lubrication station is adopted. Before use, add 6﹟ or 10﹟ motor oil from oil filler to oil box to reach a fuel head of 550-600mm. Before running the ball mill, start lubrication system to lubricate sliding bearing, after oil runs to hollow shaft and returns, start mill motor.
This lubrication station has two sets of oil pumps and motors. When running the station, one set of oil pump and motor works, and the other set is standby. When pouring oil to main sliding bearing, subject to no spatter, oil pressure is adjusted by overflow valve and adjustable current regulator. Oil is returned from bearing base to return oil store of oil box by falling, after oil is clear in return oil store, it will over-flow to clean oil store. It is a circulation.
If two oil pumps stop working at the same time or oil pressure in oil pipeline is lower than 0.2Mpa,pressure relay will work to power off mill motor, which will then protect sliding bearing from damage.
Mill is strictly forbidden to start when no oil in sliding bearing. Or else, bearing bush would be burn out, ball mill cann’t work.
3. Feed Device
Feed device consists of feed hopper and feeding screw sheel, which put material into tunnel body continuously.
4. Discharge Device
Discharge device is made up of discharging screw sheel,helical blade and trommel.Flange of discharging screw sheel is fixed to hollow shaft by bolts,after grinding, materail in tunnel body enters into discharging screw sheel,and then is pushed out into trommel.In trommel, block material is selected out, small materal goes into next working procedure.
5. Driving Device
Motor is connected to high speed shaft of reducer with elastic pin coupling; low speed shaft of reducer is conneted to pinion shaft. Electric power will be transmitted from motor to pinion by reducer. Pinion teethes gear on the tunnel body which rotates tunnel body. The gear protector is installed to proof dust.In the outside of gear protector, DPJ-I/J oil mist system is installed to lubricate the gear & pinion.
It should be pointed out that the driving model cannot be changed arbitrarily. If it must be changed for some reason, the active force of small gear on the big one should be assured vertically upward, not downward. Otherwise, the reaction of big gear on the small one will pull the bolts of small gear and holding down gear upward, which will make them work unstably and vibrate sharply.therefore,rotating diraction must be re-adjusted according to this principle. If rotating direction change,spiral direction of feeding and discharging screw sheel change accordingly.
